Design sprint

E-Democracy.Org is gearing up to redesign our web sites.

As we continue to use various open source tools - GroupServer for forums, MediaWiki for our "pages," and WordPress for our blog - we need your input and talent to help us redesign our site.

In addition to a new look and feel, we have a small grant that is funding some new GroupServer features (like automatically inserting YouTube videos in the web views of posts).

If you are willing to join us on a Saturday in the coming months for a design sprint, please sign up. E-Democracy.Org leaders will present some of their needs/ideas and with your help, we can come up with a few designs to consider that same day.

If you cannot join us in person, you can volunteer your time right now by reviewing Steven Clift's video screencasts reviewing sites/ideas he likes and a shorter summary screencast with his (my :-)) amateur ideas and see what you can come up with that we might use across our 10+ community, 3 country local network.

Put "virtual" behind your name if you cannot participate in person but are willing to help. Join our new Projects online group for volunteers to get involved in design activities.
