Design sprint
From E-Democracy.org
E-Democracy.Org is gearing up to redesign our web sites.
As we continue to use various open source tools - GroupServer for forums, MediaWiki for our "pages," and WordPress for our blog - we need your input and talent to help us redesign our site.
In addition to a new look and feel, we have a small grant that is funding some new GroupServer features (like automatically inserting YouTube videos in the web views of posts).
If you are willing to join us on a Saturday in the coming months for a design sprint, please sign up. E-Democracy.Org leaders will present some of their needs/ideas and with your help, we can come up with a few designs to consider that same day.
If you cannot join us in person, you can volunteer your time right now by reviewing Steven Clift's video screencasts reviewing sites/ideas he likes and a shorter summary screencast with his (my :-)) amateur ideas and see what you can come up with that we might use across our 10+ community, 3 country local network. (Put "virtual" behind your name if you cannot participate in person but are willing to help.)
