- Housing-- supports wide range of housing levels and increase in home ownership, and has strong belief in New Urbanism and supports measures to facilitate walk-able neighborhoods
- Schools-- call for increased level of positive after school activities for children

Ethics-- supports public financing of political campaigns, an Instant Run-Off voting system, and election reform
Environment-- improve and implement bike trail plan and protect the upper Mississippi River corridor
Public Safety-- training to improve better police-community relations
- Drug Policy-- reform at municipal level and provide legal framework for medical marijuana
Fiscal Policy-- supports living wage ordinance and wants to restore commitment to NRP
